New Pigments, New Techniques, New Subjects
This whole project was about using the things we weren’t as experienced with, so I took the opportunity to try a few new things. New pigments, like pink and white and metallics, new techniques like adding light washes of metallic water over dried pigments, and new subject matter, namely the sky.
Bold Colors
Watercolor is usually defined by soft lines and pastel colors, so I like to challenge myself to use bold colors and defined details.
